Focus SB® is a British company dedicated manufacturing electrical wiring accessories of unparalleled quality for 40 years. Industry leaders, Focus SB sockets and switch-plates are highly sought after for prestigious interiors projects, both in the UK and internationally.
Focus SB is the first in the British electrical wiring accessories manufacturing industry to develop and manufacture a product range for China, successfully licensed to manufacture and export products in 2017.
The only UK electrical accessory manufacturer with total control of its manufacturing process in-house, Focus SB’s engineering and state-of-the-art auto finishing facility enables the company to be flexible and reactive to customer demands. In addition to the £150,000 investment in its auto finishing plant, Focus SB continues to invest in the expansion of its finishing facilities.
Unique to Focus SB, electrophoretic lacquering of polished brass plates provides durability, offering a hard wearing finish to ensure products keep their appearance over time. It is one of the only UK manufacturers able to match its rocker and toggle switches to its plate finishes. Product innovations have seen Focus SB develop the UK’s only totally flush-fit faceplate, the Focus SB Smoothie®, in collaboration with SHH architecture and interior design practice (2014). Its USB socket is one of few products in the UK with dedicated amperage for faster charging of tablet and mobile ‘phone and a total output of 3.1 amps. Focus SB energy-saving hotel key card switches are rated at 32 amps, where many alternatives are not. The company has designed the only fully certified 2 way and centre-off retractive toggle grid switch suitable for use with mains voltage in the UK (2017). The company’s quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 BSI certified.
Extensive plate options and bespoke service ensure continuity of finish for high-end residential, commercial, luxury hotels, super yachts and royal palaces including Hampton Court Palace, Corinthia Hotel London, Royal Lancaster London, The Gleneagles Hotel, Jumeirah Carlton Tower Knightsbridge, InterContinental London Park Lane and MGM Cotai.
