A fluent Mandarin speaker and veteran of China’s publishing sector, Jo was previously the head of North Asia for the world’s largest consumer book publisher, Penguin Random House (2005-2017), where she established market-leading and award-winning local operations in China, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
