Jo Lusby is the co-founder of Pixie B, a consultancy and agency specialising in China's publishing, film, television, and the creative sector.  Based in Hong Kong, Pixie B represents individuals, businesses, and trade bodies seeking to build businesses, improve strategy, secure finance, find partners, and make deals. Clients include BBC Studios, Pottermore and The Blair Partnership, The Financial Times, Macmillan Publishers, The Publishers Association, London Book Fair, and others. A fluent Mandarin speaker and veteran of China’s publishing sector, Jo was previously the head of North Asia for the world’s largest consumer book publisher, Penguin Random House (2005-2017), where she established market-leading and award-winning local operations in China, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
