On the 8th of January, the Chinese government formally removed quarantine requirements for inbound travellers, marking the end of 3 years of significant travel restrictions between the UK and China.
This rapid shift in policy marks a significant change for Chinese policy makers, with GDP growth expectations revised up, widespread optimism for international tourism, and the return of business travel.
