Background

This is a unique, national event designed to assist UK SMEs expand their business in the China market. In 2014 it attracted 240 participants, including a Chinese delegation of 80 delegates led by the Vice Mayor of Ningbo, 12 expert speakers and 9 sponsors. Previously held in Manchester (2013) and Birmingham (2014), the third SME China Forum will be held in Nottingham on 22 September 2015.

Microgroups & 1-2-1 Meetings

The business delegation from Ningbo includes 29 Chinese companies, from the Automotive (5), Advanced Engineering (12), ICT (5), Logistics (1), Retail/Food & Drink (6) sectors. These companies are looking for UK partners for a range of activities, including manufacturing & supply, joint R&D, distribution and consultancy.

There is also a Healthcare & Life Science delegation visiting the Forum. For full details of participating companies in this sector, click here.

UK attendees will get the opportunity to network with these companies, to engage in 1-2-1 meetings (supported by interpreters) and to learn more about their specific requirements.
