  • 30 KEY sentences and phrases

Cultural points

  • Chinese business etiquette
  • Customs and taboos (gift-giving)
  • Traditional festivals and travel time for business
  • Common conversation topics
  • Strategic conversation templates
  • Eating and drinking in a business setting
  • Modern business communication: mobile apps, social media and websites

Event Outcomes:

  • To develop the ability to use Basic Business Chinese effectively for purposes of practical communication
  • To understand the basic cultural differences between China and Western
  • To build-up basic awareness about Chinese people’s preferences
  • To know major communicative function in business environment
