Kenny Shek is an Associate Managing Director in Kroll's Investigations and Disputes practice, managing client engagements from the firm's Hong Kong and Shanghai offices. As a chartered accountant by profession, Kenny has over 16 years of experience in internal and external auditing, forensic investigations, financial due diligence, corporate restructuring, and design and implementation of controls surrounding financial reporting and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) for a wide range of clients in various industries, such as retail, technology and telecom, energy, biotech, and professional services.
Prior to joining Kroll in 2015, Kenny worked within the assurance team for one of the Big Four accounting firms in the UK and US between 1999 and 2008, where he gained extensive experience in both IFRS and USGAAP. Between 2009 and 2011, Kenny was the Global Head of Internal Audit for a US-listed company, where he led investigations related to various allegations of irregularities. Since 2011 and until he joined Kroll, Kenny was a director stationed in Shanghai within the forensic services team of one of the Big Four.
