Big Data Roundtable Meeting with Guiyang Vice -Mayor Xu Qin, London, 3 March 2017

A delegation led by Mr Xu Qin, Vice Mayor of Guiyang will be visiting CBBC and are looking to meet with UK companies to discuss the following:

  • Data processing and analytics: the Internet data collection (sensor), image data processing, voice data processing, data desensitization and other products and services
  • Data storage and cloud computing: cloud storage, cloud computing and cloud security (database KX and security products SOPHOS)
  • Artificial intelligence in big data: developing intelligent voice, language processing, image recognition, machine learning 
  • Big data applications: in healthcare and agriculture

The Vice Mayor is also looking to promote the 2017 Big Data Expo. This is an annual event held in Guiyang and exhibits the world's latest developments in cutting-edge big data-based technologies, products and solutions. For details of the 2016 Expo please click here.  Last year speakers included Premier Li Keqiang, Michael Dell (CEO of Dell), Derek Aberle (President of Qualcomm) and the (Ma Huateng) CEO of Tencent.
