- Low input management of marginal land for a wide variety of purposes can have high output (“LI/HO” management), e.g. for: renewables, amenity and leisure, conservation and public health, often several from one project. It is complementary to the built use of land and facilitates the development of a sustainable and liveable urban environment (in line with the concept of ecological cities in China)
- The aims of this workshop are to cement existing relationships and establish new ones between UK and Chinese partners and identify specific collaboration linkages
- The workshop will begin with a series of inspirational case studies, then move setting a short China-UK brownfields agenda briefing document
