Our next webinar on Tuesday 24th November will look at the real practices in operational stage of the offshore wind farms, with maintenance cases. Enhanced O&M methods will significantly improve the longevity of offshore wind farms. Our first speaker Amy Dowdeswell from Aqualis Braemar will share her views from working in Scotland. The second speaker Simon Sanderson from ROTOS 360, the wind turbine specialist company, will introduce their best practices and case studies.

Amy is a Senior Project Manager in OWC and has worked in the energy industry for nearly a decade, leading project teams, collaborating with stakeholders and ultimately delivering client focused results on time and within budget. Alongside this, she is well adept in leading contract negotiations, developing project cost models and generating strategic O&M plans. Amy has worked on a number of projects including the floating projects 100 MW Erebus (UK) and 200 MW Donghae Twinwind (Korea) as well as the fixed bottom projects St Brieuc, Baltic Eagle, and Gwynt y Mor.

Simon Sanderson is Technical Director at Rotos 360. He is a specialist in the repair and inspection of onshore and offshore wind turbine blades, as well as auditing of blade construction plants. Trained in physics and astrophysics, since 2008 Simon has been involved in developing new UAV inspection methods, support craft, carbon fibre lifting beam, battery powered rope access and blade repair habit.
