The Haikou-based airport is investing about £1.4 billion to expand the current airport. It's now seeking a flight information display system for the new terminal.

The airport is looking to invest £1.4 billion to expand its current facilities. The main expansion projects include:

• new terminal building
• new 3,600 metre runway
• parking spaces for 61 aeroplanes

By the end of the expansion, the capability of the airport will enable an annual throughput of 35 million passengers and 400,000 tonnes of cargo.
