Few would argue that China doesn’t have a crucial role to play in fighting climate change around the globe. This is no less true here in the UK, where its unique industrial capabilities and capacity for green investment have already played a transformative role, as highlighted in CBBC’s report published during COP26.
Since then geopolitical factors have caused many to question China’s ongoing involvement in the UK’s drive towards Net Zero.
This series of roundtable meetings will seek to discuss this issue with informed local stakeholders, showcasing examples of existing Chinese investment and promoting future opportunities for collaboration. The potential to develop a pitchbook of regional opportunities, to be shared with a wider audience of prospective investors and supply chain companies in China will also be on the agenda.
