China Chat | The Future of Experiential Retail in China and how UK Brands can benefit from its Innovation - Expression of interest list

Established as a platform for peer-to-peer learning and expert insights on the rapid changes in China’s exciting consumer market, our quarterly networking session, China Chat will return on 25th October in London.

Hosted by CBBC member, Sybarite - the architectural studio behind the future facing hybridised retail spaces of SKP and SKP-S stores across China - the session will look at China’s evolving retail landscape and what it means for UK consumer brands seeking to engage with Chinese consumers at their favourite pastime places. Post-pandemic, Chinese consumers’ desires to interact with products and curated cultural content in physical stores and through in-person experiences with high levels of sensory participation has dictated that both retailers and brands change their approach to the market.

On the back of recent news that China has lifted its pandemic-era restrictions on group tours to the UK and other Western countries, the number of Chinese shoppers on the streets of London and other UK tourist destinations is set to rise gradually. In this session, we will also talk about what tourism-dependent businesses can expect from the new cohort of Chinese consumers and how to meet Chinese consumers' expectations for digital access, plentiful information about products and brands, as well as joyful and fun consumer interactions!

This China Chat will take place as a 45-minute content session in the form of a panel discussion, and will be followed by an interactive Q&A session, concluding with networking with drinks and nibbles.

We hope that you will join us to learn more!
