In 2023, international travel has witnessed a moderate recovery for China. According to VisitBritain, a total of 342 thousand Chinese tourists visited UK throughout the year. With group travel from China to UK re-launched after the pandemic since August 2023, the number of visitors to the UK is expected to keep surging.

To best support visitors with travel needs to the UK, the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), in collaboration with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) and VFS Global, will be hosting in-person visa briefings in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in late April.
